1/2 bunch curly kale
1 tbsp extra virgin olive oil
salt, pepper, sesame
Directions
- Strip the kale from its stems in large pieces, and wash well, then dry thoroughly with clean tea towels or a salad spinner.
- Put the kale in a large bowl and add the oil. Massage it into every dimple in the leaves, then toss with the seasoning.
- Spread out in a single layer on a large baking trays lined with baking parchment and bake for about 10 minutes (depending on the thickness and size of the leaves it can take up to 20-30 min.), at 100°C.
Do not increase the temperature to ensure the leaves dont burn on the edges but dry evenly. - Turn the oven off when leaves are crisp. Taste for seasoning and add a little more if neccessary, Remove from oven and let cool slightly – chips will crisp up even more once out of the oven.
Enjoy immediately! Best when fresh. Store leftovers covered at room temperature for 2-3 days.
